Barcelona

Barcelona is a wonderful city, rich in culture and heritage. It is famous for its amazing architecture which varies from its Historic Roman Walls to its more modernist and contemporary architecture. It has many museums to visit and also many temporary art exhibitions and shows. As you may know Barcelona is renowned for its widely varied musical events and festivals. So if you are interested in music you could visit all sorts of shows from Opera and ballet to jazz and rock and lots more. Why not visit the cities Opera House Gran Teatre del Liceu? Barcelona is very rich in design. This is evident not only in its wonderful architecture but also in its many shops, bars and restaurants. Its reputation in the fields of Fashion, Food and Furniture make it a very trendy city to visit.

Shopping

  • If you love shopping then you will certainly love the Barcelona shopping experience. With its famous 5km stretch of shops, that go from the top of the Ramblas, through Plasa de Catalunya, along Passeig de Gracia and up Avenue Diagonal, you will be in heaven. There are plenty of designer shops and boutiques, including Versace, Giorgio Armani, Burberry, Calvin Klein and many more. If the thought of walking the full 5km with lots of bags scares you, don't worry as there is a Barcelona shopping bus service (TomBus) available that runs up and down the shopping line all day.

Eating Out

  • Eating and drinking are primary attractions of Barcelona. With hundreds of restaurants to choose from you will be spoiled for choice. There are restaurants that sell traditional Catalan Cuisine, Mediterranean food, Chinese, Japanese, Tapas Bars, Seafood and lots more.
