Prague

Take a step back in time by visiting this beautiful city filled with medieval architecture, gothic churches and baroque domes. The St. Vitus Cathedral, the Royal Palace and The Golden Lane can be found in the Castle Area which dominates the city, but the 'lesser quarter' is well worth a look, remaining practically unchanged since the 18th Century. In the Old Town you'll find the square which is full of beautiful pastel coloured buildings and you can watch the procession of figures on the 400 year old astronomical clock.
Shopping
- You'll find most of the expected high street designer stores but delve a little deeper for the Czech designer shops for handmade jewellery, funky kids clothes and club wear.
Eating Out
- Czech food is typically central European - Meat, dumplings and potatoes or rice with vegetables or sauerkraut, though there are a significant number of ethnic and international restaurants opening all the time. Prices soar as you get closer to Old Town Square.
